Spain 1936.
Under a very conflictive situation in Spain, part of the army rebels in arms against the Government of the Republic elected democratically.

Although initially Francisco Franco is not in command of the rebellion, quickly and thanks to his personal charisma and his predicament in military organization, he takes charge of military operations.

But, to reach the military victory, he needed to surround himself with efficient men who were in complete harmony with their ideals.

Men who blindly followed the guidelines designated by Franco and ultimately were rewarded with victory.

Men like Emilio Mola, the ideologist of the uprising and whose career was cut short by his sudden death. Queipo de Llano, whose differences with the late Franco ostracized, Fidel Davila, perhaps the most military prepared and Franco's right hand during the struggle and the aftermath and Jose Moscardo, the tenacious resistance hero of the Alcazar in Toledo.
